Brilliant Annie Lennox "Shining Light" Video Premiere

Annie Lennox has been in a slightly gloomy mood, for, I don't know, the last... decade. Perhaps she intuited the present global condition. If so, her new song and video "Shining Light" bodes a brighter future, as the iconic songstress has thrown on her best neon bodysuit to just have some fun. 

"Shining Light," is one of two new tracks off Annie's forthcoming solo retrospective, "The Annie Lennox Collection," out February 17th.  If you're an Annie fan like us, you should stroll through her iTunes music collection and maybe get the hardcopy too, which includes a bonus DVD with all of Annie's solo music videos.

Kelly Clarkson's record-braking No. 1 tune, "My Life Would Suck Without You," now has a cute music video to accompany it.  For some reason the powers that be are not in a sharing mood, so it took much digging to even find this low quality version.  That sure does suck.

Madonna Announces New "Sticky & Sweet" Dates

Madonna has announced the new dates for the extended edition of the "Sticky & Sweet Tour."  Unfortunately, Madonna is sticking to Europe and will not visit any of the continents that she missed the first time around.  In case you were wondering about the above shot, it is taken from an upcoming issue of W Magazine. The photos were shot by Steven Klein and feature Madonna posing with a model named, wait for it... Jesus.

Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is the song that just keeps on giving. Miss Lauper's latest album, "Bring Ya To The Brink," had plenty of jems, but it was not until "Girls" was thrown into the pop-blender with "Set Your Heart" that she whipped up something completely different.

'Veggie Love' Banned by Dick

Dick Ebersol, chairman of NBC Universal Sports & Olympics, apparently is not into women and vegetables mixing like this.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) created an artistic message for an audience dulled of their collective sentient sensibilities through excessive beer and meat product consumption. They might have shown how a sausage is made, but that would probably have been banned, too. It certainly wouldn't be something people would want to watch while snacking on their pork rinds.

Sure, Dick gave PETA a chance to edit their offensive vegetable-loving message. However Dick will have no pumpkin-licking, asparagus-rubbing objectified women on his tube. A free society? Not even at $2.4 million per 30 seconds.

Madonna Comes Back To Europe For "Sticky" Encore

Madonna just announced on her official website that the massively profitable "Sticky & Sweet" Tour will boot up again for a special European Tour this summer.  Her Madgesty will play venues that were left out during the diva's '08 World-Tour-Trek.  Additional details will be released later this week.  Check back soon...

Whoops, "Push" Release Faux Pas in Sci-Fi Versus Street

When Lucy and Ethel showed up on stage wearing the same dress, it tested their "Friendship" and brought out the worst of their societal survival techniques.

Now we have a new version of this stage drama unfolding with some heavy-hitting personalities coming to the fore: Mariah Carey, Mo'Nique, Chris Evans, and Dakota Fanning. The two latter stars are featured in the new Paul McGuigan sci-fi thriller "Push," while the former two stars are in the critically acclaimed Lee Daniels' film, "Push." If someone would just please change their name we can move forward without incident.

Well, the good news is the reviews have been exceptional for both Mo'Nique and Mariah Carey in "Push," while Chris Evans always offers promise. Rumours that Dakota Fanning has gone postal on Lee Daniels' ass appear unfounded.

The Killers Launch "Spaceman" Video

The second single from The Killers' "Day & Age" album is out on video and out of this world. In "Spaceman," Brandon's hearing those voices in his head again, and he may possibly have been hoodwinked and bamboozled in an alien abduction, but that is open to interpretation.
